The University of Queensland Premedical Society was founded in 2012. It is the student society for future medical students at the University of Queensland. We work to promote the interests of premedical and aspiring medical students on campus, facilitate communication amongst members and assist in recognising the efforts that students make. UQPMS also acts to encourage students in ventures which are not university related.

Our objectives are:

• To encourage an active academic, cultural and social life between the members of the society

• To build professional and working relationships between students

• To support other organisations with like objectives, and

• To promote the interests of students who have a provisional place in medicine, or are planning to enrol in graduate medicine, at UQ.
